Static QR codes
Codes are generated entirely in your browser. The content (links, Wi‑Fi passwords, contact details) and any logo you upload are not sent to us. Your design preferences may be saved in your browser’s local storage for convenience; you can clear them anytime.
Dynamic QR codes (Pro)
To forward a dynamic code we store its destination link, the name you give it, and a one-way hash of your license key. When someone scans a dynamic code we record the time, approximate location (country, region, city, derived by our hosting provider Cloudflare from the network), device type, operating system and browser. We do not store IP addresses. To count unique scans we keep a salted, one-way hash that changes every day and is deleted after a few days.
Payments
Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar receives your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive your license key status and, where provided, your email address.
Hosting and logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the service. If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is cookie-free and does not track individuals.
Your rights
You can ask us to export or delete your dynamic codes and stats at hello@evergreenqr.com. Deleting a dynamic code makes it stop working.
